How It Works

The Rules

Simple, fair, and a little bit brutal.

🎯

The Pick

Each participant picks exactly one golfer from each of the six tiers (A through F). You have until the Thursday morning lock time (approximately 12:00 PM BST, April 9) to submit your picks. Once locked, no changes are permitted.

📊

The Tiers

The Masters field is divided into six tiers by the competition organiser, based on world rankings and form. Tier A contains the favourites; Tier F contains the veterans, past champions, and amateurs. The tier list is finalised after the Valero Texas Open.

A
Favourites
Top-ranked players, most likely to win
B
Got a Chance
Strong contenders with realistic chances
C
Possibles
Solid players, outside the top favourites
D
Cut?
Borderline players who might miss the cut
E
I Doubt It
Longshots and players past their prime
F
Past It / Amateur
Veterans and amateur qualifiers

The Scoring

Your team score is the combined score-to-par of your best 3 of 6 golfers who make the cut. The lower the score, the better. Golfers who miss the cut are never among your best 3 counting scores. Scores are updated live from ESPN every 60 seconds during the tournament.

✂️

Missed Cut Penalty

Any golfer who misses the cut receives a penalty score of +10. This is added to their round 1 and round 2 scores for the purposes of the tiebreaker calculation only — missed cut golfers are never among your best 3 counting scores.

Qualification Rule

To qualify for the prize, at least 3 of your 6 golfers must make the cut. If fewer than 3 make the cut, your team is marked as 'Did Not Qualify' (DNQ) and cannot win the prize, regardless of score.

⚖️

Tiebreakers

If two teams are tied on their best-3 score, the tiebreaker is the 4th-best golfer's score. If still tied, the 5th-best, then the 6th-best. If all six scores are identical, the tie stands.

🏆

The Prize

The prize pot is set by the competition organiser and displayed on the leaderboard. The winner is the participant with the lowest team score at the conclusion of the final round on Sunday. The organiser is responsible for distributing the prize.
